Beautiful things happen when you trust the timing of God and allow His miracles to take place!
Every now and then, I find myself in a place of reflection as I look back at my Facebook memories. In fact, I do this quite often to see how God is moving in my life and to reflect on how much I’ve grown in Him. According to one of my Facebook memories, last week marked the one year anniversary of me receiving my honorary doctorate! If you have been following me, then you may know that it also marked the anniversary of my family and I moving into our beautiful estate that God blessed us with! As I noticed the irony of the events, I shook my head in awe realizing the INCREDIBLE EXCELLENCE of God’s timing!
Here’s a little backstory…
Ten years prior to me receiving the honorary doctorate, I was asked by someone if I had been interested in acquiring one. Right away, the Holy Spirit nudged my spirit to let me know that the time for it had not come. I can even remember talking to my husband about it, and he confirmed that it wasn’t something that I needed at that time.
Around 2015, things began to skyrocket quickly as we hit millionaire status and my name started to circulate. Many people presented me with so many suggestions and ideas; there were so many things being thrown at me. Even still, I yielded to the timing of the Lord. When I was offered the opportunity to receive the honorary doctorate last year, something in my spirit leaped saying “this is it!”. I knew that this was the time! It simply felt right. I knew that I was to move in on the opportunity right away. Around this time, we had just closed on our new estate. As soon as we got the keys to our home, we were on the road for 7 hours headed to Georgia. The moment we arrived at the ceremony, the presence of God surrounded me! I could even perceive in the spirit realm that God had allowed my mother to look down from Heaven and witness this moment with me—a beautiful moment I’ll always cherish.
As I also looked at my Facebook memories, I came across a post where I wrote in 2016 that I felt land being released. It was years ago when we felt the land and went out to purchase in 2017— 8 acres of land that we then built our new home on!
Don’t forget the timing of God!
Years ago, people would prophesying to me that they saw visions of a stove. Many may already know that my family moved from a beautiful home. I cooked every now and then but not as
nearly as much as I cook now. The Lord told me that once I moved into our new home, I’d be cooking more. When we walked into our new home right before we closed and I walked past the stove, God dropped something in my spirit again. He began to show me that there will be streams that will come from that area.
…the timing of God!
It wasnt that I couldn’t do it 5 years ago, simply the timing wasn’t there. People would prophesy often of what they could see me doing, but the timing was not for then, but years to come.
God Knows!
Here’s one thing that God was showing me: He knew all along. He hand selected the day in which I would receive my honorary doctorate, just as He knew the day that I’d be closing on my new estate. He was already of the days that He established for me.
In this same way, God knows every detail concerning you! You must understand that when God’s hand is on your life, He will begin to orchestrate your steps and the timing—even when you think the timing is off or that you have missed some things. This is why you must be so sensitive. I encourage you to hone in and become so sensitive to the timing of God, and be okay with it. The Bible tells about the Lord’s timing and the importance of recognizing the different seasons:
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
You must truly understand that His timing will never be off! I pray that you will learn to embrace the correct timing of the Lord!
Redeeming The Time!
When it comes to God’s timing, have you found yourself in regret for the things that were supposed to happen years ago?
There may be some things that should’ve happened in your life that did not take place, but be encouraged that God will restore time just for you! Sometimes we may think that we are off, or that we missed things when God was protecting us along. At the same time, there are some times when we could be off in God’s timing.
I even personally was off a bit in some things due to the nature of some warfare that caused some shifts in my life.
…but God can restore the timing!
You will have to go through some inner healing and do the inner work. Be honest and transparent with yourself and God. The feeling of regret does nag a lot of people, especially with the fact that they could’ve been further in life or with their goals. There are times when we can miss things and it can cause trauma and heartbreak. I encourage you to make a petition to the Father. Talk to God about it and admit your desires and disappointments.
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.” – Proverb 13:12
You must also understand and come to terms with the timing of God. Sometimes we tend to think that we are off timing, but there are times when you are not. You may be right where you are supposed to be. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Ask God what is the one particular thing that He would have you to focus on. Present a petition before Him and forgive yourself. Ask God to release unto you time redemption. This allows you to get things done quicker and faster. There is also a grace that releases ease while you are running your race. Stop focusing on what should’ve happened—you will get nowhere near fast by doing this. Stay in a direct line of communication with God. Believe that you will be restored and that God will bless you!

Be Encouraged
God knows your name! He knows the very hairs on your head are numbered. He created you!
Even if you may feel as if you are out of God’s timing in some areas and out of position, may God restore the time. May there be a restoration anointing that hits your life. May there be an anointing to embrace the proper time that He has established for you in the Earth. There is even a time that He has set for you to be processed in some areas. There may be some areas where He is desiring you to grow up spiritually.
Don’t lose hope or lose sight!
His refreshing wind will be released over you and the angels will bring cleansing waters around you. They will pull off any burdens, yokes, chains, cords, and anything that the enemy has placed for your demise. May the anointing of deliverance be your portion. Receive deliverance from Heaven!
When it’s truly your time, NOTHING can stop the hand of God over your life! Place your hope in the timing of the Lord in this season!
