There’s Glory in Your Story!

I wanted to minister to you today about the power of your story. Every thread within the story of our lives represents a unique journey. It’s a personal story filled with experiences, challenges, and triumphs. May you be encouraged today that there is so much power in your testimony, and it’s time to share it!

God wants to get the GLORY out of your story!

Your Story Matters

Your story is powerful. It’s a narrative filled with moments where you faced obstacles and emerged even stronger.

Where you encountered pain but found healing…

Where you felt lost but were guided back on the path…

Every chapter of your life, no matter how insignificant it may seem to you, holds significance in the eyes of the Father. The things that God brings you out of and does for your life is so significant. The things that God brings you out of and the miracles He performs in your life are not just personal victories. They are testimonies of His grace, mercy, and love. They are evidence of His faithfulness. The Word of God tells us in Revelations 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony”. We do ourselves and others a disservice when we don’t share our testimony. Keeping our stories to ourselves not only diminishes the glory that God deserves but also withholds healing and encouragement from those who need it most. Our testimonies are not just about us; they are about what God has done through us.

Imagine a world where everyone kept their stories of triumph to themselves. It would be a world that’s empty of inspiration, hope, and the truth that we are not alone in our struggles. When we share our stories, we help bring light to the paths of others, showing them that if God can do it for us, He can do it for them too! There are people who will be healed by you sharing your story. Your experiences, your pain, and your victories can be the very thing that someone else needs to hear to find their own path to healing. It’s in the sharing of our victories that we help build the faith of others. When you share your testimony, you open the door for others to see the light of God’s work in your life. You become a living testament to His power, a beacon of hope for those who may be walking through their own valleys of despair. Your story has the potential to change lives, to heal hearts, and to bring glory to God in ways you may never fully understand!

God wants to get the glory out of your story. Yes! Your story with all of its twists and turns.

It’s time to share your testimony.

It’s time to honor what God has done in your life!

It’s time to extend a hand of hope to those who need it most!

Don’t underestimate the power of your story. Embrace it, share it, and watch as God uses it to transform lives and bring glory to His name!

He’s the Same God!

God is not only real and active in the past, but He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! No matter how things may look and what you may be contending and struggling with. You may even feel the pressure rising up, but God is still the God who releases breakthrough.  He is still the God who releases the power to deliver man out of captivity. He holds the power to deliver man out of bondage. He is that same God! When you are going through different trials, adversities, and storms and He brings you out of them you must share it. Don’t downplay what the Father has done in your life. You may look at your story as a small thing, but the truth is that you don’t know who needs your testimony. The raw presence and power of God resting on you is a demonstration of God’s work in you. When we’re going through, we’re not thinking about the different aspects of it—but we’re often just simply going through the motions. But when you look back on your story, you’ll discover the moments where you find yourself saying: “if it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, where would I be?” You will be able to see God’s hand on your life as you look back and recognize that He was the one who brought you out. It’s those kinds of moments when you must share your testimony so that others can receive the encouragement they need to keep going.

The Lord takes us from glory to glory…

From one breakthrough to another…

From one story to another…

From one test to another…

You have to start telling people about the tests that you’ve passed with the Lord. Start telling others how He brought you out. People need to see God’s demonstrative work in you and how He has turned some things around for you.

We’re all familiar with this scripture:

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” – Genesis 50:20

What the enemy meant for bad, God will bring about goodness! That is what you must share and tell others. Share how God’s hand was present and how He has moved in your life. How He allowed you the grace to stay when other people that went through that same thing that you did would’ve quit, gave up, caved in, or even been taken out.

What story has God allowed you to endure that you need to share?

What are the moments when you recognized God’s hand in your life?

Everyone Has A Story

The glory of God is upon your testimony. He wants you to share how He brings you out, when He brings deliverance to you, when He brings healing, and how He brings restoration to you. It all matters and it will help someone else. Every redemptive story like a seed realizes it’s potential when it is planted in the heart of another human being. And that plant will ultimately bear more seeds! When you share your story, it shows people God’s faithfulness toward His people. It shows the love, power, and mercy of God in ways that they can understand. You have the power to overcome, much like those in the Word who came before us:

Noah had a story…

Abraham had a story…

Moses had a story…

Joseph had a story…

David had a story…

Paul had a story…

Our precious Lord and savior Jesus had a story…

Let it Bloom

There’s wisdom in YOUR story! God wants to use you. Remember that what you overcome, you also carry authority in. No one will ever be able to understand the weight of authority you carry if your mouth is shut. You have to open up your mouth. There is wisdom in your mouth. Someone’s breakthrough lies in your mouth, in your testimony, and in your story. Your story contains wisdom, revelation, and knowledge in it for other people who need it. There are great moments in this Earth that are birthed through stories. Businesses and ministries are birthed through stories. Embrace what the Lord has allowed you to be able to go through for His name’s sake and for His glory. Even take account of the things that He has allowed you to accomplish through His grace.

Repent for the times when you may have withheld sharing with others what God has done for you. You must share your story so that others can see God’s footprint in your story and His redemptive power. In this season, God is chiseling away any darkness that has kept you from opening up and sharing. If there have been spirits sent on assignment to keep your mouth closed, then let them be canceled in the name of Jesus. You may carry shame from your story, but on the other side of it, God was still yet moving in your life to get the glory out of it. May you be free from any embarrassment or guilt you may feel that keeps you suppressed in that place.

Let the flowers bloom on the other side of your shame!

There is a work that God is doing through you!

The wisdom runs deep from your story!

Open up your mouth!

God will give and release the grace!

May you come to know and understand what you are carrying even on a deeper level in this season. May your receive the anointing to see yourself as God seeds you. It’s time to share your testimony and let the Father get the glory from your story!

Amen.
