Re-Evaluate Your Faithfulness

I know without a shadow of a doubt that the Lord is wanting to convey a message to His people –one of great testing and faithfulness. As I recently prayed over my coaching clients, I felt led to share a passage of scripture that speaks of faithfulness. Today, I’d like to share that message with you. Let’s read the passage on the master and his servants in the Word.

“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more. His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”

Matthew 25:14-29

The Lord desires to bless His people greatly, but there are principles and laws that He has called us all to operate under. We all have seen many leaders minister and give prophecy

concerning new doors being opened, elevation, promotion, and others reaching new heights in the Lord. However, many believers seem to forget an important key factor: faithfulness. This is a principle by which God operates under, and He absolutely adheres to it. The reality is, if you are not faithful in some areas, then it may cause you to remain stagnant.

Faithful – Remaining loyal; steadfast. Firmly fixed in a place.

Loyal – dedicated; devout. Constant.

I often have flashbacks of moments throughout the years and different seasons that the Lord has been with me. In fact, I can recall the season over twenty years ago when the Lord would have me to speak and prophesy to others even in the grocery store! I remember having my small babies with me as the Lord would urge me to speak to others. I realized that He was preparing me for something greater–He was processing and preparing for the “now”. I had been prepared for the platform years ago, but He first had to test my level of obedience, faithfulness, and also loyalty to Him.

Would I be able to release what He would have me say?

Would I be too caught up in the opinions of others and how they would respond to me?

Could He trust me when no one else was watching or looking?

Could He trust me when my name was yet out there?

How was the posture of my heart even before receiving the millions?

We as believers have to learn how to be faithful without the glamour of money, resources, and overflow income. Even the vision of my home flashed before me and I thought to myself, “Wow, a $2.6 million dollar home!”. Many of you already know the testimony; but it was only made possible through years and years of remaining faithful to the Lord!

In 2008, when my husband and I received our tax check, we chose to be wise and use the money to pay off our vehicle. When I received income from an inheritance from my father, we paid off debt rather than going shopping. We made choices and sacrifices out of faithfulness rather than squandering what we had been given. This was done so that as the years went by from 2019 to now, my husband and I can boldly speak about debt freedom because we lived it! It didn’t happen overnight. The discipline, the mindset, the heart, and stewardship all played a part.

Many people often wonder how I am able to witness the angels and experience many glorious encounters. It is because we were faithful with what God had shown us. I honored Him! I respected Him! Even after all of the encounters we’ve had, I am still always happy and excited with what I receive. To this day, I am still so very grateful.

Assess Your Faithfulness

Remember

You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.” – Matthew 25:23

God is wanting His people to assess our level of faithfulness in some areas. We must not get to the point where we are covetous and wondering why God is trusting others with more.

Can He trust YOU with MORE?

Again, many have prophesied that the supernatural rain is coming, the doors are open, and the millionaire flowing is approaching. But can you learn to first be faithful with the thousands? If God blessed you with millions today, would you go out and squander it all tomorrow? Although the prophetic words may sound good to your ears, you must be realistic. We have to learn how to be grateful and thankful for what God has already given us. Be thankful for your spiritual gifts, your talents, the anointing, and your resources!

Ask yourself:

How are you handling the things that God has already given you?

Are you faithful in your relationships?

What about the spiritual gifts that God has given you?

How are you handling your dreams?

How are you stewarding the prophetic words that He has given you?

How are you handling the very things that He has already shown you?

How are you handling your tithes and offerings?

If you have a business, how are you handling your customers and clients that you have?

If you make a mistake and mess up, do you humble yourself and admit when you may have missed some things?

Be Faithful!

Remember that God honors FAITHFULNESS!

In this hour, we must be careful with the things that He has given us. Our reality is based upon the principles that our Heavenly Father operates under. We will be witnessing many believers elevate and continue to see more; and we will look and wonder what has happened.

Can you learn to be faithful with just the few prophetic words that have been imparted in you? I

encourage you to ask God to show you the areas in which you need to be grounded. Can you remain in what He has shown you? Don’t be so quick to start things without finishing them. You must be a finisher. Remember that our Father is a finisher and you were created in His image.

Be faithful!

Be loyal!

Be steadfast!

Be devout!

Be constant!

Repent from the things that you have not been faithful in. God will grant you the grace to finish your assignments. May you bring to completion the things that He has already called you to do. He will even release the angels to help you. The angels will come and assist you. He will release the downloads that you need and remind you of what should be priority in your life. He will remind you of the vision that He placed down on the inside of your belly. May you bring forth the things that He has called you to birth. May they grow as you see your vision come to life. Come against the spirit of fear that will cause you not to complete things –whether it’s fear of man, fear of failure, or fear of being inadequate. Whatever it is, call and cancel out the spirit of fear that may be hovering over your life!

I encourage you to ask God for the strength that only He can give. We are in a time where God is using many believers together, it is not a one man show. Don’t be afraid to pull on others for prayer–this is humility! Lay down your pride whenever you have an assignment and acknowledge that you are fragile without the Lord. Lean on others as you may need to.

Today, receive a new level of grace and mercy from the Lord that you have never experienced!

Amen.
