Nothing Can Separate You!!

It is always encouraging when we can be reminded of our need to trust in the Lord. He is truly our EVERYTHING —and without Him, we can do nothing. We cannot breathe without Him; and now more than ever, we must trust Him in this hour.

As I was praying a few months ago, I can remember the Lord softly saying: “Cling to me”. To cling means to adhere to as if glued firmly together and to have a strong emotional attachment to or a strong dependence on something. We are to cling to God and trust God like never before!

Nothing Can Separate

Allow these words of this scripture to get deep down in your spirit:

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:35-39

WHO shall separate you from God’s merciful, unfailing, and wreckless love? NOTHING and NO ONE!

The Father wants to remind you of this today. Continue to trust in Him with your foundation firm and planted in Him.

No matter what you see and experience…

No matter what you go through…

No matter the level of attacks that come against you…

Despite the generational curses that are battling for your attention and time to distract and pull you away from God …

Believe that NOTHING will be able to separate you from the love of God!

Be persuaded and convinced!

Not Death, Nor Life!

As I think about the grief and heartbreak I endured when my grandmother passed away, I realize the beauty of this scripture in Romans 8. Around this time, I was a young mom and wife in my 20’s—and her passing was absolutely devastating. Although there was a massive weight of grief that I was experiencing, instead of sinking deep down in depression, that was my call to draw closer to the Lord. That experience drew me closer to God in such a way where I began to seek and search Him out. When my mother passed away, I experienced such excruciating pain on another level. Even still, I refused to sit in it and be depressed. I made a choice to do the work while it was yet day according to the Word. I didn’t let what happened separate me from God. In this same way, I encourage you to continue to trust Him and move in His strength and His grace, knowing that all things work together.

Oftentimes, the excruciating weight of loss and grief attempts to separate us from the Father. But no matter what it is, the unfortunate situations and trying issues that come knocking at your door, He doesn’t want anything to separate you from Him. Instead, He wants you to draw closer to Him. CLING to Him!

Be An Instrument

“Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” – James 4:14

Here’s one of the things that I’ve been pondering on: Life is but a vapor…

Even when life starts lifing, the reality is, you still have to press onn. It’s not easy, and the Lord surely didn’t say that it would be. This is a hard work and fight that we are in as believers. Just as Jesus walked the Earth healing, delivering, and setting people free from bondages, pain, and captivity–it was hard. Despite what you see on social media and the glamor of it all, people are truly dealing with hard things. Even so, be encouraged because you have a work to do in God no matter what happens around you!

We are commanded to occupy while we are here. We have to make an even more impact for the Kingdom of God and doing His will.

What is it that God wants you to do?

Where does He want you to go?

What does He want you to do daily?

Ask the Father: how can He use you every day?

Ask Him: who is it that you need to reach and touch?

As you are walking about your day, be so mindful of being an instrument and being used for the glory of God. Nothing will be able to separate you from the love of God!

No More Distractions

Don’t allow distractions to separate you!

Don’t allow the cares of the world to separate you!

Don’t allow the relationships to separate you from the love of God!

Separate means to keep apart or disconnect. To scatter. To withdraw or detach.

If you are able to discern what is fighting for your time and attention and what’s distracting you from the Father, then you must check it. You have to be real and honest about what’s happening. Recently, God has been dealing with me strongly about the need for more time in His presence. There’s another level and layer of relationship that He is desiring with His children. This is about getting quiet to see what He has to say rather than the other way around. Take a look at your life and discern from a place of truth; not from a place where you are beating yourself up or walking in condemnation. Look at what’s separating and pulling you away from God and ask Him to help you.

Have you noticed that you’ve gotten further away from Him after a loss, heartbreak, etc.?

Do you feel scattered?

What have you made an idol before God?

Remember that your spouse, job, business, and relationships can all become idols in your life. Realize and recognize anything in your life that has caused this. Examine your relationships so that nothing should be able to separate or disconnect you from the Father.

I encourage you to put those things at the altar. Don’t pretend as if they are not there and don’t exist. Remember that He comes first and He simply doesn’t want anything to separate you!

Cling to Him!

When it’s all said and done…it will just be you standing before the Lord—not anyone else or the things that you’ve allowed to come in between. May you fall back in love with Jesus, your true first love. Remind yourself of all of the ways that He has been showing Himself in your life.

There’s work to be done!

Dig in deeper and trust Him more!

Cling to Him more and connect with Him more!

Lean in to Him even more!

He is our everything!

Don’t allow life’s circumstances, warfare or attacks and blows and hits to disconnect you from God. If you have been feeling exhausted from battle and your heart has been weary or even broken, be reminded of God’s redemptive power. Allow His oil of strength to be poured down onto your back. Put your heart in the Father’s lap and allow Him to work on you. He is doing heart surgery, removing the daggers in your heart. Allow Him to remove all of the things that pushes away His presence unintentionally. He is giving the strength and grace to draw closer to Him. He is giving you the strength and grace to fall on our face before Him and to fall down on your knees. He is giving the strength and grace to pray until you receive a breakthrough and until something happens!

God is moving and releasing fresh oil!

The angels are going to work and they are fighting for you!

God is resetting and renewing some things!

Let there be a new song in your heart!

Nothing can separate you from Him!

Cling close to the Father all the more!

Amen.
