Today’s message of encouragement is one that is simple, yet so very needed for the Lord’s people: God wants to reward you! Yes, YOU!
If you follow me on social media, then you may already be aware of my recently shared news of my feature in Essence Magazine! After waking up and scrolling on social media, I came across a post that I had been tagged in. I was in shock as I saw my name highlighted in an Essence article on “6 Black Christian Authors You Should Know”. How amazing is that?! I went to the homepage to confirm that it was the authentic magazine, and ran with excitement into the kitchen to share the news with my husband. As I later found out, a young lady was led to submit a short bio and information on my newly released book to the magazine for my recognition. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that this was indeed the Lord’s doing! The Lord knew that I needed something at that moment that served as a reminder of His love for me. So this was my own special gift from Abba, the Father.
Dear friend, be confident of this one thing as you read today’s message: God truly wants to REWARD you!
Reward – To give something in return for a service or accomplishment; Recompense; To give to.
Let’s read different versions of this well-known scripture, Matthew 6:4:
“That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.” (KJV)
“Then it will be a private matter. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you.” (Good News Translation)
“Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” (NLT)
Isn’t this such a beautiful scripture? Be encouraged that the Father is taking notes! The angels of the Lord are responding to your deeds. When you do things for the Kingdom of God, for Christ, and when you are obedient, the angels write those things down on scrolls. When you sacrifice time to pour into God’s people, to give back, and when there is a true pure sacrifice where you are not looking for things in return, God will surely reward you. There will be a recompense and repay that comes forth from your humble deeds. He takes note of the things that you do for Christ’s sake. God is going to reward you OPENLY in this season! Nothing pleases Him more than being able to pour out ABUNDANT blessings over your life as you continue your walk with Him in unshakable faith and obedience.
“If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.” – Isaiah 1:19
There is nothing wrong with a Holy God rewarding you publicly and openly. I encourage you to begin to embrace and accept the GOODNESS of the Father. Be okay with the magnitude of the rewards that the Lord desires to shower upon you. Whenever you begin to feel inadequate or unworthy of God’s goodness, consider all of the things that you have done in secret that have led up to your season of great reward! Unfortunately, with public reward comes public attacks—that simply comes with the territory. But nothing on Earth can stop or block the rewards that God has for you!
Receive Your Recompense
There is a reward that is WAITING for YOU!
I pray that those rewards and every single blessing and inheritance that the Lord has for you will be released unto you in its set time. There are rewards with your name attached to them! Let it be known that what you do for Christ is NOT in vain! Tap into the things that your Heavenly Father has for you.
I feel HEAVEN MOVING on your behalf!
There is such a fresh, beautiful anointing that has fallen from the heavens over your life. God is surely moving and He desires for you to be encouraged. Can you feel the presence and touch of the Lord today? May your heart be full of joy. May you smile again! The angels of the Lord are pulling your files open in the heavens and releasing blessings. It is my prayer that you begin to tap into what Heaven is doing just for you! May you be able to embrace the rewards and recompense—the good things that come from such a good Father!
There’s nothing like the Father’s love! May you experience His grace and love in a new dimension! Receive the keys that are being released on your behalf. There are angels on assignment to overturn and overthrow some things for you in the realm of the spirit. The blessings of the Lord are coming down, BURSTING through the realms! EVERY single thing that has your name attached to them, may you receive them by faith.
Don’t sit in the familiar place of doubt!
Don’t remain in the shadows of unbelief!
Believe and receive your rewards from the Father!
He has something special prepared for you! Will you embrace how God wants to reward you?
