It’s time for us as believers to RUN to the Word of God!!
Over the last few prayer calls that I’ve hosted, the Lord has been impressing upon me heavily to teach His people about THE WORD! When it comes to our walk with the Lord, everything that we need is in the Word and it does so much for us!
The Word Cleanses Us!
The Word Purifies Us!
The Word Revives Us!
The Word Stimulates Us!
The Word Enables Us To Walk in Freedom!
The Word Makes Us Wiser!
The Word Lights Our Path!
The Word Gives HOPE!
The Word Dispels Darkness!
The Word Strengthens Us!
The Word Melts and Softens Our Hardened Hearts!
Get this, even the Lord Himself declares:
“Is not my word like fire, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?” (Jeremiah 23:29)
AND we know by Hebrew 4:12 that the Word of God is living and active! It is described as being sharper than any two-edged sword! Isn’t that POWERFUL?? It is my hope that today’s message sparks and ignites the fire within you. Be encouraged and get into the WORD today!!
We NEED The Light of the Word!
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” – Psalm 119:105
We all have experienced such a tumultuous, chaotic season in 2020 –especially here in America. One that has been truly historic, yet filled with darkness, gloom, and despair. Emotions have run at an all-time high; while many are deeply carrying anger and confusion in their hearts. As many fought to survive, prayed desperately for their loved ones, or were left questioning even still: “God, what are we doing?”. Although it has truly been a dark time, we have been given such encouragement through the Lord’s Word! It is the Lord’s Word and His alone that continues to serve as our light in times of uncertainty.
Be encouraged that the Word of the Lord LIGHTENS things up!
It GUIDES you!
The Word HELPS you!
We are in a time and season where God is releasing major keys for WEALTH – wealth that is not just for you and yours, but also to be distributed for His will and purposes. For this very reason, knowing HOW to hear God is so important. Hearing the voice of the Lord eventually becomes easy as you take heed and practice so that you won’t ever have to second guess what He has said. You will be able to quickly yield and obey whenever He instructs you to speak, give, sow, or even intercede for others because of your certainty that you’ve heard the very voice of God!
One of the ways that we are able to hear the voice of God is through His Word! There is a reason why I have been teaching on this very message lately, because the Lord has instructed me that the time is NOW! During this season like never before, we as God’s children are required to press in even more into His Word!
There is POWER in The Word!
As God’s living Word goes forth, things are produced or even reproduced. It causes things to grow. As we were created in the Lord’s image, whenever we speak or decree a thing according to His Word it is so! The Word revives us! If you are tired in your body, get into the Word for the strength and healing that you need! Does your faith need to be increased? Apply the word! If you are seeking God for instruction, then I encourage you to read the word! The word of God cuts sin out of your life. If deliverance in certain areas of your life is what you need, be set free by the Word! Not only should you read the Word inwardly, but you must declare and speak the Word out loud. Remember that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”, (Romans 10:17). The Bible also tells us that “life and death are in the power of the tongue”, (Proverbs 18:21). Allow the Word to be embedded in your heart and readily available in your mouth to speak.
I came across a powerful message about the Word of God by Joyce Meyer during my personal study. While I’m only sharing a few from that list, I hope that it blesses you just as much as it blessed me!

- The Word of God is truth and when we follow it we are made free. (John 8:32)
- The Word is life, healing and health to all who find them. (Proverbs 4:20-22)
- The Word heals and delivers us. (Psalm 107:20)
- The Word protects us. (Psalm 18:30)
- Meditating on the Word brings wisdom, prosperity, and success. (Joshua 1:8)
- The Word brings stability, fruitfulness, and fulfillment and all that we do will prosper. (Psalm 1:3)
- God’s Word upholds, guides, maintains, and propels the universe. (Hebrews 1:3)
- God’s Word has the power to create. (Genesis 1)
- Those who order their conduct and conversation according to the Word are blessed. (Psalm 119:2)
- The Word cleanses and purifies us. (Psalm 119:9, John 15:3, John 17:17, Ephesians 5:26)
- The Word of God reduces the capacity to sin; it strengthens us against temptation (Psalm 119:11)
Like never before, I encourage you to get into the Word of God!
Speak the Word out of your mouth!
Quote the Word!
Live the Word!
Be the Word!
Read and meditate on the Word!
Stand on the Word continually!
Believe in the Lord concerning a thing!
Stand for that thing!
Contend with it in the name of Jesus!
Come into agreement with Heaven according to His Word!
“Forever, O LORD, thy Word is settled in heaven.” – Psalm 119:89
Let it be so! Amen.
