Be Intentional in Your Love Walk!

I hope you’ve had an incredible Christmas spending time with your family and was blessed majorly! Today I have a very simple yet powerful word for you that I believe is so impactful as we enter into 2023

My message for you today is how are you choosing and displaying love in your everyday life? The Word tells us that these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE!

What is love?? Let’s dive into the scripture:

“Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,

pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (MSG)

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23

These are such beautiful passages of scripture that reminds us of the true definition of love in its purest form. As we are entering into another year, let us do a better job with our personal love walk. This includes being more patient, gentle, and kinder with others—we all need it. Oftentimes, we don’t always realize what others are enduring or going through from the outside looking in.

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” – 1 Peter 4:8

Make New Memories!

The Father placed on my heart some practical instructions for His people, and I believe it is His desire that we become more intentional with the people that we love. When it’s all said and done, all you’ll have left are the memories to cherish. I encourage you to connect with your family and make more memories for the new year and other years to come! If your parents are still here, reach out and connect with them. Gather your elders and relatives and share stories that reconnect you to your lineage. Take some photos that can be cherished. Take some family pictures with all of the children and grandparents. As a selfie lover, my family often gets a little frustrated at how much I love to take pictures—but it is so important to do so, especially in the times that we are in. In today’s age and time, things have shifted majorly and many have forgotten the beautiful treasure that is found in fellowship with one another. Social media has taken away our attention from the things and people that matter most.

Life is so precious and fleeting, and it can slip through our fingers if we’re not being intentional. It’s time to put the phones down in 2023!

My aunt recently shared a picture with me that I will truly cherish forever. It was a picture of my mom in her 20’s with me as a baby on her hip. I said to myself, “wow”, because I had never seen the photo before. In that moment, I was so grateful that my aunt treasured that photo all of these years.

Memories last a lifetime!

Sadly, when your loved ones are gone, they are gone. There will be no more videos, silly selfies, and family photos to take. There will be no more stories to share and recounts of what once took place. Cherish it all today and be intentional in your love walk. This is some practical knowledge and wisdom that the Father wants us to adhere to. You may even need information because of generational curses that need to be broken in your life. Listen to your elders. None of us have fully evolved, and there is yet wisdom in people that must be passed down. Even when family frustrates you a bit and gets on your nerves, no one is perfect and we’re all deserving of unconditional love.

Isn’t this the greatest act of love?

Elevation

The spirit of elevation is upon those who honor their love walk. When you do things from a place of walking in love, it is in that realm where elevation occurs. No matter your status, how anointed you are, or even who the person is, always strive to make others feel good and make them feel seen. It is the ultimate act of love, respect, and kindness. Deep down, we all want to be seen, respected, and acknowledged. Let us make an intentional decision and effort to show others love and appreciation when you walk into someone’s presence.

Did you know that this moves the heart of God? God loves and enjoys this, and amazing things take place when you honor others.

Let’s Connect!

Somehow society has gotten so far away from truly connecting from the heart. It is the small things and the small acts that matter most. Let’s be more intentional about taking time out for the people we love. Even for birthdays, it takes only 20 seconds to send a personalized message to someone to make them feel special and seen. When my mom passed away and it came time to gather our pictures, I found myself scrambling to find a decent amount of photos. I realized that it shouldn’t be this way. There should’ve been plenty of photos to go around and choose from. This reminds us that we should all work to be more present and in the moment during the times that matter most. As your parents and loved ones are getting older, be reminded that they also need to feel the love. It is such a beautiful thing when you do things that make them feel wanted, loved, seen, appreciated, and honored. There is a flow of the spirit that also happens when those things take place!

Let’s work on our love walk in 2023!

Prophetic Encouragement

A change is coming…

There has been a lot of injustice taking place throughout the land; things that haven’t been done right by the Lord’s people. A lot of things have happened because of wickedness in the land. Many believers have found themselves feeling wronged, crying out saying:

“But God, I do pray, I do tithe. I am truly trying to live right and walk this thing out in the Earth. I am not perfect but I am serious about walking right with you, and it seems as if I just can’t get ahead”.

Be encouraged that the Lord is making some adjustments! He is fixing some things because He has heard the cries of His people and He is mindful of the injustice and unfairness that has taken place. Many have gone through something similar to an identity crisis and major mental warfare, but God is showing up to even shift how we think in this season. There is such a direct connection and correlation of what shows up in the natural and what takes place in the spirit. So even how you think about the things of the Spirit, about the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the images that you see in your heart and in your mind will be shifted. Like never before, the Lord Jesus will be paying visits to many in this season!

Restore – To give back; to return; to put or bring back into existence. To put back into a formal or original state; to renew; to put again in possession of something.

In this hour, there is much that will be restored. All that the enemy has taken and lost will be restored. So we must thank Him in advance for the spirit, grace, and the anointing of restoration.

If you truly knew what Jesus did for YOU…

If you could truly understand what he did for you, you would walk with greater power, authority, positioning, and even love. You would truly walk in your calling and operate in the sphere of grace. You would boldly operate in the plane and dimension in the spirit that you are supposed to operate in. If you knew what Jesus did for you, you would see freedom manifest very differently around you. He took it all for you and for your freedom!

There is some payback coming for His people. Continue to believe that He is God and His desire is to see mankind free!

Be encouraged and walk in love!

Cheers to the New Year!! May you be blessed!!

Amen.
