Don’t Stop Pressing!!!
Life can be quite overwhelming…
We as believers often find ourselves fighting in spiritual wars that are exhausting, and sometimes even brutal…
Truth be told, no one ever said that it would be easy…
Yet, even in seasons of great weariness, God desires for His people to be encouraged beyond their exhaustion and equipped with a fresh strength to endure. Today’s message is partially inspired by the woman with the issue of blood, who pressed her way into her miracle of healing and deliverance. May this word refresh you and cover you with the strength needed to keep pressing through your own personal battles until you see VICTORY in the Lord!
“And a certain woman, who had an issue of blood for twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” – Mark 5:25-29
Let’s take a look at the life and testimony of the woman with the issue of blood. It serves as a beautiful reminder that God honors the fight and press within us—even if we must crawl our way to victory. This woman struggled for and fought for years, fighting for her body to be restored and her freedom from the bondage of her sickness. Imagine the pain, shame, and utter embarrassment that she had to face. She carried her illness around in shame, isolated and tormented in her mind. Many people talked about her as she sought help from the doctors. In fact, her issue had gotten worse over the years; yet she pressed on. She had heard about Jesus, a man who had been walking through the streets healing and delivering. On that particular day she mustered up all the strength that she had left and desperately pressed her way to Jesus. She pressed her way to her healing. Surely this extraordinary display of courageous strength only comes from God!
Evaluate Your Press
Press – to seek urgently to contend.
Contending – to strive and contest against difficulties; struggle; to battle; compete; face off.
God is concerned about your press in this season. There will be times in your walk with God when you will simply become strained and won’t feel like pressing anymore. Many believers have become fatigued from seasons of constantly fighting, pushing, pressing, fasting, and even believing God. If you have found yourself in a state of weakness in the midst of the battle, then it may be time to assess your level of pressing in this season:
How is your press in this season?
How are you contending in this hour?
How are you showing up on the battlefield?
Have you become fragile on the frontlines?
In what areas have you gotten weak and weary?
You have an evil enemy that you have to fight who is not moved by your weariness; in fact, that is when he pushes back more. Because of this, it is time that you evaluate the quality of your pressing forward in this season. It’s time to check the level at which you’ve been contending with some things in your life.
Is your “CHECK ENGINE LIGHT” on in the spirit realm??
Today’s message may not be one that feels good or pacifies your fears. The truth is, it won’t always be easy; there are some things that you still have to battle for in the spirit. Yes, God is restoring many and bringing forth breakthrough. He is surely releasing keys and strategies from Heaven to unlock destinies—but there is STILL a fight!
There needs to be a different cry that comes from you in this season…
There needs to be a different sound…
There needs to be a different war that comes from you in this season in order for you to occupy territory and cut things up in the realm of the spirit!
Get your SWORD out and GET BACK in the war!
Oftentimes, many people take glimpses from social media and assume as if I have all things together. They see the pretty pictures, the beautiful homes, the books released, and assume that it has been easy. This couldn’t be any further from the truth. There is a story that goes on behind every picture. It has been a fight to receive the breakthroughs that the Lord had in store for my life! I often leaned on my team of intercessors heavily. I face warfare whenever I feel the enemy trying to cover me up in the spirit, or when he tries to muzzle my mouth so that I won’t go
forth under the power of God and release the word of deliverance to the people.
No one is exempt from such warfare when it comes to contending and pressing.
Has the fight in you weakened in this season? Has your strength dwindled away? Take courage! Keep pressing!
Just like the woman with the issue of blood, have you been bleeding and silently suffering for years? What has left you feeling ashamed and embarrassed, often isolated from others who couldn’t imagine what you were going through? Does it seem as if your circumstances have gotten worse instead of better? Then now is not the time to cave in, instead it’s time to keep pressing! Will you choose to press into God in spite of your condition? In the face of your fears, will you continue to fight? That thing that you are contending with is a SPIRITUAL FIGHT! Press your way to Jesus! Don’t go into this battle without him! Give it all that you’ve got and press your way through— all it takes is ONE touch from the Holy Father!
Go in Peace!
I pray that God will give you the supernatural strength that you will need to press in this season. May the answers that Heaven have for you come swiftly, along with the breakthroughs. After years of suffering, the answers finally came to this woman; the same woman who had been shamed, put down, embarrassed, and even bed-ridden. But Jesus touched her and made her whole!
“Daughter, your faith [your personal trust and confidence in Me] has restored you to health; go in peace and be [permanently] healed from your suffering.” Mark 5:34 [Amp Version]
Let your faith make you WHOLE in this season! No more mental attacks, torment, and debilitating depression. Remember that you have access to the peace of God that surpasses all understanding! May your mind and heart be cleared on this day. May the suicidal thoughts be banished from the territory of your mind. Declare that there shall be no more extreme stress and anxiety within your mind. It’s time to declare and receive permanent healing in your life! May you go forth in peace in the name of Jesus!
Get Back Up & Fight!
Jesus pressed his way to get to that cross for you, can you do the same for him? Will you press your way to the Father? Don’t be afraid of the fighting or the contending that needs to take place. The Lord is even able to place that desire to keep pressing deep within your heart. May He touch you in the places that are yearning for Him alone. Where has your fight gone? It’s time to get it back!
Fight for your dreams!
Fight for your deliverance!
Fight for your healing!
Fight for your personal promises!
It’s time to fight that you may triumph and receive deliverance from demonic traps and pits in the realm of the spirit. May you receive the ability to pick up your sword and the strength to not put it back down. You may have gotten tired and battle-weary as you have been fighting, but be encouraged. Yes, God certainly calls us to stand back and rest in certain seasons. But if you know that this word is for you, then you must fight! I speak victory over your life today. There are blessings that are yours; there are things with your name on them that you must take back.
I pray strength over your life. I know what it’s like to be battle-weary in a war and in need of help from the Lord Jesus as you contend. I encourage you to take some time to get quiet, fast, and consecrate yourself again before the Lord. You need deliverance in some area of your life—no one is exempt. You have battles to win and victories to claim! You have testimonies to proclaim and breakthroughs to receive! Recognize your date for deliverance and your time and season for breakthrough. Declare that there will be no more brutal suffering! Be encouraged that you have angels assigned to you to help you unlock destiny.
The Blood of Jesus still works!
Fasting and prayer still works!
Worshipping still works!
The presence of the Lord works!
The angels are still working and ministering on your behalf!
Decide which weapon you will use for the battle in this hour.
Let the WARRIOR in you be awakened today!
Stop putting down your sword!
Armor up and fight!
Keep PRESSING! Be encouraged that the enemy is already a defeated foe and stands powerless against the matchless might of Jesus Christ! Jehovah Gibbor will stand at last on your behalf! Victory is YOURS!
